The Southeast New England (SENE) Film Festival has established itself as one of the premier festivals in New England dedicated to giving life to independent cinema.
For four years in a row, SENE (pronounced like scene) was selected as one of MovieMaker Magazine's Top 50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee.
In 2022, SENE was also selected as one of 20 Great Film Festivals for First-Time Moviemakers by Moviemaker Magazine.
The festival is based in Rhode Island and is produced by Southeast New England Film, Music and Arts, a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations to SENE are tax-deductible as allowed by law. The festival is 100% volunteer run. All donations go directly to producing the festival's programs and events and supporting the work of filmmakers, musicians and artists
